Firm Administrator/Director of Operations

Family First Legal Group seeks Firm Administrator/Director of Operations with superior work ethic, drive, energy and ambition to manage its business operations, including technology, facilities, finances, and human resources. Law Firm management experience is preferred. Operations and administration experience are required. This position is hands-on at the management level and reports to the owners.

The Firm Administrator/Director of Operations must be a forward, out-of-the-box thinking manager who understands how to create and drive success in all areas of professional services operations. Must be highly technical with cloud computing and have extensive law firm or business services management experience.

Responsibilities

  • Personnel Management including recruiting, hiring, training, and counseling.
  • Onboard employees by setting up technology, completion of new hire paperwork, including benefits information, policies and procedures, software training and organizing training agenda.
  • Employee Benefits administration.
  • Coordinating with outside service providers and vendors.
  • Facilities Management including satellite offices, office moves, renovations, phones and all equipment.
  • Management of all software and technology.
  • Maintain employee handbook and manage Policies & Procedures.
  • Streamline workflow processes.
  • Benefits administration.
  • Track employee PTO and maintain proper employment records.
  • Billing, accounting, and budgeting including accounts payable, accounts receivable, collections efforts, Client invoicing and creation of annual budgets.
  • Compilation and review of monthly, quarterly and annual reporting for all departments within Firm with Management.

Qualifications

  • Law firm experience at the executive or director management level as a COO or Firm Administrator.
  • Skilled in hiring and management a dynamic team of legal staff.
  • Has a command of cloud and network computer systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Human Resources and benefits administration background.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent/relevant work experience). MBA a plus.
