Family First Legal Group (FFLG) was able to help me finally move on in life! I had been working for over a year with another attorney whom I had become disappointed in. After doing some research, I realized that I needed Attorney Terrence DeSalvo and his team to help me finally close a horrible life chapter. The entire FFLG firm was exceptional to work with. Everyone was very professional, knowledgeable, and kind. At the onset, I spoke with Kaitlyn Gianferarra. She was my first contact with FFLG and listened to my divorce timeline with empathy and understanding. I cannot express how grateful I am for the help I received from paralegal Isabella and Attorney Miranda. They walked me through the process and were always so incredibly helpful throughout the whole experience. Every single worry I had during the divorce process was carefully considered and they gave me the best advice available or pointed me in the right direction in order to solve the issue. My divorce was settled out of court and they had to revise the agreement a few times before I was able to reach an agreement with my ex. I first met Alex Peterson as he represented my ex-husband in our divorce. Alex has a very north-pointing moral compass that rises above most people and definitely above most attorneys. He is one of the shining stars in his profession. Basically, by the end of my highly contentious divorce, Alex had paved the way for an amicable resolution, whereas I didn’t even need to use my own attorney. There have been a few subsequent matters since, and Alex Peterson deserves a 10-star rating, not just a 5! Diamond in the rough! Truly a gem of an attorney because he is a very noble man to both friend and foe. In the beginning, I tried filing my divorce by myself, but due to numerous Florida state law requirements, I was not able to do it myself due to the limited time I have. I looked to the website and looked at the previous reviews, and they had great reviews, so I've decided to hire them. I'm glad I did because Atty Barrett was great in explaining to me what my options are, the steps it required, and complying with the state law. Isabella Alvarez (paralegal) was also great in explaining the process, the documents I needed. She was so kind and very professional in handling, explaining the end process of the divorce. When I call her for updates and any questions I would have, she would get back to me right away if she is not available. And Jennifer Basham (discovery) was kind and helpful with the document I needed to complete the requirements. Even when I call the office, the receptionist answers the call promptly and diligently.
